Installing

macOS
Open the .dmg and drag ExamGrader to Applications. The app is not notarised, so the first launch is blocked: open System Settings › Privacy & Security, find the notice near the bottom and click Open Anyway. Only that first launch needs it — updates the app installs itself are not quarantined.
Windows
Run the installer. It is not code-signed, so SmartScreen shows a blue warning: click More info, then Run anyway.
Linux
Mark the AppImage executable and run it — chmod +x ExamGrader_*.AppImage && ./ExamGrader_*.AppImage. There is no .deb or .rpm on purpose: a package cannot replace itself, and that install could never update.

ExamGrader updates itself. Once installed, new versions are offered on launch and from Settings › Updates; you should not need this page again.

Verifying a download

Every file the updater can install is signed with minisign, and the app checks that signature before installing anything. To check one by hand, download the sig beside it and run:

minisign -Vm ExamGrader_<version>_<arch>.AppImage -P '…'

Disk images are not signed — macOS updates are delivered as a signed .app.tar.gz, which the app fetches itself.
